Just two more days to get your raffle tickets for the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival Raffle 2000. Lots of nice Harbour Lights available. Just think you could win one for only $10.00 and help the cause to save our lighthouses. Just e-mail me to get your ticket numbers. The Harbour Lights Collectors Club - Great Lakes District has adopted the POTTAWATOMIE Lighthouse, our lighthouse will benefit form your ticket purchase. I'm hoping that one day, one of Harbour Lights future releases for the Restoration Series will be the Pottawatomie Lighthouse. Then, not just our club members, but all of the Harbour Lights family of collectors who helped through raffles, donations, fund raisers past and future can look at that edition in their curio cabinet and say I helped restore that lighthouse.
Thank you all for reigniting the flame in the Pottawatomie Light.

I talked with Marvin Theut coordinator of the festival. He's allowing me to sell tickets up until the day I leave for Alpena, which is October 12th. That gives us another week and a half to raise additional funds. Last year the club raised a total of $1075.00 for the Pottawatomie Lighthouse via the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival. I encourage other Harbour Lights Clubs in the Great Lakes area to adopt a lighthouse in their area and help restore and preserve it for future generations. The funds raised from the Raffle,Keepers Dinner,Sharing Auction etc. are divided up among the various lighthouse groups participating in the festival. This is our second year attending the festival and let me tell you, you get pumped up and motivated after spending the weekend visiting many different lighthouses, sharing ideas and meeting new friends, and of coarse walking around and looking at all the booths. I say its like the "Lighthouse Depot of the Great Lakes". If you haven't purchased your Raffle 2000 tickets yet, theres still time now. Books of 15 are only $10. and you may be a lucky winner.
Thanks for participating in the Raffle 2000.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to remind you that there are a couple more days left before we head up to Alpena. Our club received another pack of raffle tickets. We have 19 books of 15 tickets for $10.00 left. If you haven't bought a book yet, please consider it. If you win a lighthouse that you already have, you can always give it to someone, they make great Christmas presents. You don't loose, if your number isn't picked, you did help to save a lighthouse. Crisp Point Lighthouse received $5000. last year at Alpena. Crisp Point had almost been washed into Lake Superior. With everyones help, today you can visit this almost lost light. Send a e-mail to me, KEEPERJJ@aol.com with your name, address and phone#. I'll reserve your tickets,e-mail your ticket numbers back to you along with where you can send your check. I want to say Thank you to everyone who has already purchased their tickets.
