Will Harbour Lights ever consider distributing a decal suitable for attaching to automobile rear windows? It would make it easier to spot fellow HL Collectors on visits to lighthouses or whatever. It would also be nice to see a larger version in the dealer's front window to notify people of HLs for sale inside. The decals should be made to attach to the outside of the window so it wouldn't become hard to spot on cars with heavily tinted windows. The decals could become part of the yearly collector's package. Maybe at least two for most people have two vehicles in their families. What do you think???

You mean like:

"I Brake For Lighthouses"

Or
"Ask Me About My Harbour Lights"

Or
"We're Spending Our Kids Inheritance on Harbour Lights"

I didn't know they had "bumper stickers." My thoughts were more towards developing something smaller but easily identifiable. I would bet there is a HL collector in most crowds at LHs every day.Is it time to develop the "secret signal?"

There's always the 14K gold-filled Seahorse Pin sold by HL at $5.00 each. But the last time I was at a lighthouse wearing a jacket that HAD a lapel was ... Well, I guess I NEVER was.

Tatoos? A discrete hippocampus inked on your right ring finger? No, wait...

Black suede leather jackets with large embroidered gang emblems on the back!!! That's IT.

John [HL's Angels]

Well Bob, I've been stringing it along for a bit of humor - but what ABOUT a Harbour Lights denim shirt or T-shirt or an Anchor Bay cap? Just wear SOMETHING with HL on it when you go lighthouse looking. I was wearing my HL's Angel jacket in Kennebunkport after the reunion, browsing through the stores. I didn't even realize the store I was in SOLD HL (only one in town that does, I learned). The owner immediately struck up a conversation.

[He couldn't get it right the first time, so...

I do have the sweatshirt, the long-sleeve polo shirt, and the denim shirt with the HL logo, but I would still like to see something for the automobile. And, I really think dealers should have a Harbour Lights decal on their window. I too have walked into stores not realizing they sold our most favorite product. It would be a teaser to come inside...you know, just like the food services do with pictures on their menus that make you hungry when you really aren't. (LOL)

There are actually a few of the stickers in existance already. But only widely known (ie: who have any interest in) by the few Wacko "HL scrap collectors" like myself.

#1: HARBOUR LIGHTS LOVES OUR COLLECTORS
A 3" x 9" bumper sticker with red and blue lettering on white background. The "love" is a heart shape, not the spelled out word. Produced in late 1995 and passed out at a few collector's shows. A few were passed out to '97 reunion attendies also.

#2: COLLECTORS SOCIETY LOGO STICKER
A 4" x 5" oval shaped sticker with white lettering and navy blue collectors society logo/background. Probably meant for dealer's window displays, possibly a few passed out at collectors shows in '95 or '96.

#3: HARBOUR LIGHTS LOGO
A 2" x 5" smaller bumper sticker with red and blue lettering on cream and white background. The typical Harbour Lights name/logo with a drawing of North Head and bracketed border. Dealer displays again.

#4: 1ST ANNUAL REUNION. I SAW THE LIGHT
A 4" x 5" sticker with blue lettering and '97 reunion logo on white background. Passed out to reunion attendies. Not as thick as others, probably would not hold up on a car's exterior.

There are a few smaller ones also. These were not "sold" by HL in mass quantities like you suggest, just thought I would mention what is out there already to the few (if any) people who might want to know the factoid.

PS to John: The Bill Younger permanent "signature tattoo" and HL body piercing "seahorse nose pins" are still in the development phase. Kinda like the watch.

Rod, I must admit you know your HL related items. You were the first one to mention some of that information. I think you should be elevated to "HL Guru Board". John, do you have an extra seat for Rod?

How about a 4" die-cast metal hippocampus for the trunk lid of your car?

I would like to see the lighthouses made on to the window clings. That way your kids and/or grandchildren can put them on your sliders and also learn about lighthouses
