The Chicamacomico Life-saving Station Historic Site & Museum will remain closed until further notice, due to the effects of Hurricane Irene.
A damage report link has been posted at the top of their web site along with photos. Looks like no major structural damage but lots of clean-up and carpentry repairs will be needed. A lot of the store contents/merchandise was destroyed.
