Can you identify this lighthouse from a 1950 trip?

This should be a good hint - I am on the right in a blue coat wearing a head scarf. (I'm 12 years old in this photo. My little sister age 10 is to the right of me and my mother is in the navy blue, seated on my left.)

The back of the lantern room is interesting - appears to be brick, a continuation of the main building.

The Swedish flags in the second photo and the ship name in the third were great hints.

Yes the Swedish flags clarified it for me.

My dad was an enthusiastic photographer, and he was taking 35 mm color slides in the very early 40s. My mother and I indexed all the slides - numbered and written on them what they were and listed in a book and cross indexed by topic on 3x5 cards. I am currently having the slides digitized. I'm up past 10,000 of my mom and dad's and I think I have over 8000 of mine. After I get them digitized, I compare the original slide with the digitized copy and organize according to the index and put them on Picasa. I have 197 albums up there now with up to 200 photos per album.

The latest one is the damage after Irene (mostly trees down in the back yard)
Damage from Irene

From there you click on the "Rosalie Beasley's Gallerys" tab at the top and then you will see the first part of them
