Must be nice. The greedy bastards took a 30+ cent greed bump Yesterday. Dropped it a penny later in the day. No justifiable reason other than pure profit. Back to sitting at about 4.15 at most places.

I have to strongly agree with you, Dave. Why should Big Oil just randomly screw the motoring public and business people because they think there's going to be further unrest in the middle east or a storm in the Gulf, or elsewhere. The gas we're pumping now is from the past drilling and has nothing to do with what is going to happen in the future. Big Oil is not operating at a loss, but rather they're recording record profits at our expense and loss.

$3.69 at Cumbies up the street. The Hess Station under the Bourne Bride by the Cape Cod Canal had regular at $3.61 when I went by yesterday morning around 0530 hrs. Lowest price I've seen other than the Stop&Shop discount card.

One of those oil states where the taxes on gasoline are low so as not to offend the hand that feeds them.

I paid $3.23 in New Orleans yesterday. Had I been on the West Bank, it was going for $2.85 according to television news. Seems the price had dropped 40 cents between Wednesday and Friday due to a gas war.

Indy prices range from 3.10 to 3.40 at Speedway (owned by Marathon, I believe) depending on what part of the city. Here locally it is around 3.35.

Greedy bastards just couldn't be happy having to lower the prices. They bumped prices about 17 cents Tuesday, another 20 cents today. No reason other than straight out price gouging as far as I am concerned. No reason for it, that is, other than corporate greed and padding the bottom line significantly.

"Thank you, Sir, may I please have another..." Big Oil is making big money, and that money is coming out of our pockets. They think we should be happy that it didn't go up to $5-$6 per gallon as predicted by the media. Smoke and mirrors while they pick our pockets.

OK, this is ridiculous! $4.05 here at Shell for regular. But you do get a break if you pay cash ($3.95)! Luckily our Stop & Shop card gave us $1.00 off per gallon at the pump. (Nice to get SOMETHING for the high cost of groceries!) The privilege of living on Cape Cod, I guess!

Not much scuttle butt about gas prices lately. Most stations in my area are selling 87 octane at $3.35-$3.39 a gallon. One station is as low as $3.23. I would love to see it be less than $3.00 a gallon.

Was 3.33 yesterday, then the greedy bastards realized they had moved the price in the wrong direction. So, now it is 3.55.

In the past week there were some stations in Indy that were down to 2.99. (Really sad when you realize that is a super bargain price in these days!)

$3.229 at Costco in Phoenix. Mileage on the last tank was 52.1 MPG (2010 Prius) With the weather cooler here, no need for AC which has given me better mileage.

I've now got 28,500 miles on the car purchased in April 2010. My last vehicle, a 1991 Volvo got 18 MPG, I figure my savings was just under 1,000 gallons with the Prius. At today's gas prices, that's about $3,200 in savings.
