Bob, that's not an unusual site in Chicago harbor. Mark and Tim use that rig all the time getting back and forth to the FSB. Of course, when the harbor freezes over in the winter they are able to just stay on the zamboni and make the trip.
Dave is correct, that is the FSB ice fishin shanty. It is also the FSB hunting lodge (in season) but this year we launched it way up north, late in the season Dave joined us for the final weekend of ice fishin season. we had a few beers then Tim broke out the white lightnin (locally produced at FSB distilleries) then Dave broke out the rock & rye. well one thing led to another next thing we know a large ice burg breaks off and we're fishing from Green Bay all the way to Montrose harbor in Chicago. That picture is of Tim and I in a rented boat towing the lodge back up north...... good times
Mark, I thought we all concurred that what happened in the FSB stayed in the FSB . . . All these folks find out about the great times up north they're all gonna want to check it out. Then we will be over capacity and in trouble with the fire marshal again (I think he is still pretty upset over the Yugo incident from '05). Anyways, if we start seeing too big a crowd on the weekends Tim is probably going to insist on a cover charge.
