This March was the first time I really went out of my way to get a look!
I've been going to Montauk 35 years and only peeked and laughed before from the parking lot side but this time I went through the club to the waterside and was surprised.....

I want my office on the fourth level, room is smaller as well as windows, but the view....! I wouldn't even mind the stairs. I will get one up this evening.

I believe the house was moved from the Point to this neighborhood in 1916...

According to Rowlett, Lighthouse Friends has a picture of the house at its present location...of course I can't look at that since they are down. I could not find a picture anywhere else. So...I used Google maps to verify. Wow that works great! I hope the link works.

You got it, I found it a couple of years ago because Tim Harrison was looking for an image for a book he was working on.. So I went looking with info from Lighthouse Digest site.. The view from the street worked, about the same angle that I shot my image from..
