$3.59 for regular and $3.99 for Super here in Ocala, Florida. So your's isn't to bad a price. It usually goes down after the Snowbirds go home in March and April.

It was $3.09 two days ago and it is $3.33 today at the same place.. Fortunately the Kroger Grocery Store gas station has a 10 cents a gallon and up to 50 cents a gallon off for food purchased at their store.. I got 40 cents a gallon off of the $3.09 price when I filled up this week..

Our prices actually WENT DOWN from the beginning of this week till today. Our regular is $3.34 and Super is $3.64. People must have been complaining to the State Commission on the high price gauging.

The Gulf /Cumberland Farms station had 87 octane for $3.24. That's 13 cents higher than it was a couple of weeks ago. The Sunoco next door is getting $3.29 for 87.

Just took the Challenger to the inspection station for it's annual State Inspection Sticker. Filled it up with premium on the way back. 93 octane was $3.56 a gallon. 87 is holding at $3.36.

I guess we can see Corporate America runs the country !!!
They have the job market where they want it and they have product cost where they want it. Pretty soon they'll have their castles and we'll have our peasant shacks.

One nearby Gulf stationed owned by Cumberland Farms raised their prices by 4 cents today. 87 octane is now $3.48. Two miles away another Cumberland Farms Gulf is selling the same 87 octane at $3.40 per gallon. Go figure.

We should not complain. My sister just asked John Eagle what the price in Ireland is this morning. 1.50 Euro per liter. You do the calculations...$7.82 per gallon. 1 liter = .2642 gallon 1 euro = 1.3771 US dollar.

Starting to see some of the more expensive gas stations dropping their prices. Maybe the fact that people are going out of their way to find the cheapest prices may be working.

The southwest and some of the south side of Indy tend to have the bargain prices for gas, probably because that is where Paul lives . . . I was in Indy today for work, and prices tended to be in the 3.55 range, which is what they are here. For whatever reason, Saturday we bought gas at Sam's Club on the north side of Indy for 3.38 when the going price was 3.65. How could Sam's sell it for 27 cents a gallon less than everyone else? Maybe they are just not as greedy . . . At this moment, prices for Speedway in Indy range from 3.31 to 3.63 (and the hi price is at a south side station - go figure). Guess all this just supports my contention that they are a bunch of greedy bas*****.

It's definitely a greed thing. There is no shortage of gas, but the oil companies are charging us more because they have a perception that oil will cost more in the future. They bought the current oil for short money and want to charge us as if they paid a high price. The motoring public gets taken while they make large profits.

Karen and I took a trip to Connecticut yesterday. Stations averaged around $3.77. Stopped in Swansea, MA Cumberland Farms on the way home. Price was $3.44. Saved about $5.00 on my fill-up by waiting 'til we got back to Massachusetts.

$3.329 in Parker CO on Saturday for 85 octane. For those that are not familiar, CO sells 3 octanes and they are lower than back east; 85 is considered our regular, 87 is midgrade and then 91 is "high test".

Price dropped from $3.46 to $3.40, then up to $3.43 today at Cumberland Farms. This is a far cry from the $5 a gallon they were predicting a month ago.

Leveled off again at $3.46 for 87. In the past they would jump 10 cents between octane levels. Now 89 is 12 cents more than 87. 93 is 12 cents more than 89. I think oil companies have psychologists on staff who know how to maximize volume and profit by messing with peoples minds.
$3.649 this morning, but, yesterday morning on the way to work it was $3.549 for regular. Up $.10 a gallon over night! I hope those oil executives are sleeping well.

Gas prices here are always go up on Friday morning and stay that way through the weekend. Sometimes they do go down the following Monday, but not always. So I try to fill up on Thursdays. I paid 3.369 yesterday morning.

$3.699 a gallon for regular this morning. This is up another $.05 a gallon since yesterday at this time. The snowbirds are migrating northward so we are suffering for their departure. Another month to go and I hope it gets back to normal down here.

In our area the Speedway stations (owned by Marathon) seem to be the driving force - when they change, everyone else follows suit. Very unusual for them to do a major increase on Sunday, but the greedy bastards went from 3.64 or so up to 3.85 today. Kroger and Sams usually don't follow until the end of the day, so was able to get topped off at the "lower" price. Can't figure any reason other than exceptional greed for the bump. Interestingly, in Indy their prices are anywhere from 3.55 to 3.85 - no logic.
They have jacked the price about 20 cents a week for the past 3-4 weeks, and aren't taking it down much at all.
