My niece that's the actor in "Beautiful Mind" and the TV series 'Everwood' has a 5 minute family feature on VH1. The show is 'Kid Star Parents Exposed' which features bad parents for the first 55 minutes and then does a cute little thing with her family in the last 5 minutes. I saw it about 2 weeks ago, but it is on the Saturday at 11pm on VH1 - her spot will be around 1150-1200 midnight if your interested. I'm sure it will be repeated often. eek

I'll have to watch for that. What is your niece's name? I saw Beautiful Mind but have never watched Everwood although I hear that it's a good show.

Thanks, Bert. I'm constantly finding great things that this site can do. The "originators" have done a terrific job; it is so easy to negotiate one's way around.

Grace, here's a previous Topic that started earlier in her career.
VC

She was the little girl in 'Beautiful Mind that was the turning point of the movie. 'Everwood' is currently on Thursday's a 9pm on the WB. She's usually featured in the first and last 5 minutes.
4th season - the kids building quite a bank account!

I enjoyed reading over that topic, Bob. I'll have to check this program out. As I said, I have heard lots of good things about Everwood. Before you posted the old thread, I went to the Everwood site and found Vivien - recognized her from the movie right away. I won't be home Saturday evening but I have the DVR set to record.

Hey, Bob, I forgot to tell you that I saw the program about the kid stars. There are so many horror stories about child stars that it was good to hear that there are some whose families are sound of mind and spirit. I guess Vivien is your sister's child? They certainly are making sacrifices to help Vivien's career. They do seem to be taking it in stride, though - despite the usual sibling complaints! smile The segment on your family was cute and refreshing after the sad stories. I'm glad you told us about the program.

Hey Grace, glad you got to see it. Vivien is my wife's brother's child. The youngest and oldest -Lydia and Olivia are my God children. They all have many friends in Sandy, Utah, and love living there. Major problem is my brother-in-law commuting but he's been able to spend more and more time out there each year. Right now he's there 2/3's of the year.Bob

I saw that too (I'm a little overly-obsessed with VH1 at the moment). I wasn't sure, but I thought that was your niece when they mentioned that they were from New York.

All Roads Lead Home is up for Dove Crystal Heart Award for best family film in limited release

Hi everyone! Vivien's movie "All Roads Lead Home" has a chance to win the Dove Crystal Heart Award for best family film limited release. This is a huge honor. The Dove Organization is the gatekeeper for family films in the film market. I am sure you have seen their seal on DVD packaging and film advertising. These guys are who hollywood looks to. They also average 400,000 visitors to their website. We need you to go to the link below and vote for "All Roads". Also send this out to everyone possible and tell them to vote. This needs to happen asap. We just found out a few minutes ago we were up for this award. If you like this film and want to support, please vote.

Vivien will be 'Sweet 16' in April so this would make a great present!
Movie is available on DVD or rental now.

Thanks!
Bob

Thank you for your votes,
Bob and Vivien

Dove Foundation co-founder and CEO, Dick Rolfe just returned from Los Angeles where h e
presented the solid crystal trophies for the following movies. “These outstanding films
represent the highest examples of quality storytelling combined with positive values that most
Americans hold dear,” Rolfe said.

Best Drama – “Fireproof”– Sherwood Pictures, Sony/Provident Entertainment
Accepting the award was Kris Fuhr, Senior Vice President of Marketing
Best Action Adventure - “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” – Walden Media’s
President Micheal Flaherty accepted the award.
Best Comedy – “Bedtime Stories” – Walt Disney Pictures
=0 ABest Animated Feature – “WALL-E” – Pixar Animatio n and Walt Disney Pictures
Best Musical – “High School Musical 3: Senior Y ear” – Walt Disney Pictures
Accepting for the three Disney winners were Dick Cook, Chairman and Mark
Zoradi, President.
Best Document ary – “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed” – Premise Media’s
Vice President of Mark eting Lance Sticksel accepted the award.
Best Limited Theatrical Release – “All Roads Lead Home” – Waldo West Productions
Producer/Director Dennis Fallon accepted the Crystal Dove Seal trophy.

“Dove Family Approved movies are all winners where profits a re concerned,” said Rolfe.
“Films that elevate rather than denigrate the human spirit are bound to appeal to a wider
audience. It is a win-win scenario – the movie-going public has a wider variety of appropriate
movies to choose from and the film industry has the potential for larger revenues garnered
through the distribution pipeline.”

The Dove Foundation is a nonprofit family advocacy organization=2 0headquartered in Grand
Rapids, Michigan. Since 1991 Dove has publicly recognized motion picture storytelling that
exemplifies positive and uplifting values with its familiar blue and white Dove FAMILY
APPROVED Seal.

I've been flicking the TV channels and have been catching glimpses of my niece in Beautiful Mind. Time flies, she was such a cute kid.

So now she is working her way into the Soap Opera "One life To Live" on ABC.
Her 1st appearance was yesterday as the new girl in a Twilight look alikes life.
II know nothing at all about the show, aand we didn't even know she was on yyesterday. We got a call from a niece who regularly watches the show - during the show!
