I bought her a Sony A200 digital SLR. I shoot with a Nikon D300, and I also have a Nikon D70s.

Why did I buy her the Sony? It was $599 for a 10 megapixel camera, 3200 ISO, black and white and Sepia are able to be taken on the camera..Not to mention vibration reduction built into the camera. Nikon doesn't have VR built into the cameras. Its in the lenses, which makes VR lenses VERY expensive.

Its a much better camera than my first digital SLR, which was a Nikon D70s.

She is SO excited about getting this camera. It should arrive in about a week.
