Help me. I am looking at a PrimeFilm 3600u Film and slide scanner from costco. $139.99 delivered. I cant find any reviews on this and have no idea if it is worth it. I have years of film to scan and want to get rid of the neg. Please give me info like you are writting a book scanner for dummies . Thanks in advance.

I know your pain Fran. I have 30 years of family, etc on slides & negatives. The COSTCO piece has been on their website for many years, hopefully improving all the time. I've been waiting until I really have the time to devote before I pull the trigger. I also have video projects which I started by outsourcing my sound Super 8s with great success!

Fran, these are the Consumer Reports Quick Recommendations - best for the price. I don't know if this helps.

When you review the entire list of the scanners CR tested, the model you listed did not make the list.

I just got a new Visioneer One-touch, 9220, USB
with slide and negative adapter. I have to get it connected this afternoon. I can't wait to scan some of slides that I took of my family years ago.
