We were watching a hunting show on the Outdoor Channel last weekend when the start of the next program showed a lighthouse-just a quick flash of it. It reminded me of Pemaquid. I have been going through my books and some websites trying to find it. The program was This Open Land (I think) and we watched to see if we would see it again or they talked about it, but no such luck. frown

We were watching an episode of "Martial Arts" yesterday. In it Sammo and his girl had a romantic meal in the grounds of Point Fermin Lighthouse (CA) ! We recognised it at once!
Brilliant place, lovingly restored!

Watched Jim Zumbo Outdoors last night. He was seaduck hunting with an outfitter from Searsport, ME. In the background I saw a lighthouse as they were leaving a harbor. They then went to Stonington for lobster. It is going to be on again and I'm hoping to watch again...they only showed a quick glimpse. I have researched and come up with Pumpkin Island Light or Fort Point.
That's the down side to these shows. They show the lighthouse in the background, but don't tell you exactly where they are! frown

They, also, don't leave the view of the lighthouse on there long enough so you can get a good look at it.
I saw a public relations ad on TV a couple nights ago. It also had a lighthouse but it was
on and off so fast I couldn't tell which one it was. The ad for for Puerta Rico tourism.

You hit it right on the head, Kay! A split second is about all you get. Then try and remember all the details you thought you saw to identify it... it's enough to drive you crazy! laugh
