Has anyone seen the new book "Lighthouses" by Sarah Wermiel? It is apparently available only from the American Lighthouse Foundation for $75.00 plus shipping. The description sounds interesting but it's pretty expensive. I'd like to know more before I put it on my Christmas wish list.

It's apparently part of a series, in fact, published by Norton, a pretty big publisher for this kind of stuff. Just in the "recommended items" area I see ones on bridges, canals and barns.

It seems like a nice enough book. I don't really need to spend $50 on a book of B&W photos, even 800 of them. Your mileage may vary.

Just don't think it's an ALF exclusive.

Maybe purchasing from ALF at the higher rate gives a hefty share to them? Maybe Paul C. can enlighten us.
