The collection has been well picked over. Even though the forum collectors have not overly supported this effort. The non-forum members are and have been enjoying gathering up the single digits and 10 for retail.

When the founders Collection was first made available in March there was still low numbers like the HL 127 Whaleback HL Biloxi HL 149, New Canal HL 148, HL146 Bolivar and other of the early 5500 series. They are all gone now.
But there are still some L.E.’s still available if you are still interested.

Got an e-mail that its been extended to the end of the month.

I don't understand why I am not getting any info from Lighthouse Depot. I have been recieving all the other emails except for anything pertaining to the Founders collection.

NOW is the time to make up your mind if you have been dragging your feet on purchasing any of the "Founder's Collection" pieces!

As Daniel stated above, a lot of good pieces were "scooped" up in the past month, however a lot of good LEs still exist, even though they are of the later pieces.

... it is HIGHLY likely that this may be the last time you see these being offered !

I ordered two. I was able to specify what I wanted. Alot is gone, especially the early years.

Anticipating Patti's call, I had a list ready. As I read names off my list, Patti checked if they were available.

I picked up 5 #5 pieces. All lights my wife and I have visited. I would have got four others but couldn't afford it. I was very happy with the whole process.

Very Happy indeed! Patti is handling this wonderfully! HLs has finally listened to collectors about how to handle what could possibly be the final 'parsing' of the Founders Collection.

The Founders Collection opportunity just keeps getting better!

At first I was discouraged at how this year's opportunity offer was going to be handled and the fact that the collection would have likely been "picked over" .... boy was I wrong.

This latest offer (and highly likely the last offering to be made by HL and LHD) was a CRAZY gamble with the current slump in our economy and all. But it WORKED!

I applaud Patti in coordinating the offer in benefiting as many HL collectors as possible. I hope her superiors review her performance and consider offering her a pay raise for her outstanding customer service and HL relations to us collectors! She handled this beautifully and like a pro.
