I am glad the Legacy is finally available.

Still would prefer a printed version on glossy paper, even at additional cost.

Rather disappointed that the tent card set contains a common mis-naming. White Shoal is NOT White Shoals.

It is a favorite of mine and all previous references by Harbour Lights were correct. Now we can all print and display a typo.

Maybe I am sensetive because my last name is plural but is often written singular.

Life goes on,
Dan Moons

Hang on to that tent card Dan... The "White Shoals" has been fixed.

Thanks for the email also. The idea of the tent cards was mine, by the way.

Those who haven't seen an email and think they should, be sure and check your "bulk email" or "Junk eMail" folders. Then give HL a call 800-365-1219.

Typically the Collectors Society pieces are announced in April.

Maybe the event pieces for 2007 will also be announced at that time. It probably depends on the dates for the Regional Events and when the in-store events begin.

Dave and Tony are working on that... Tony is on the road for a few weeks at shows in Atlanta, and Chicago and maybe elsewhere.

My guess is that the April annoucements will include the Regional Events lighthouses as well as the CS lighthouses.

Kind of makes sense to keep them separate.

cheers

I didn't get an email either. And no ... not in my junk folder... confused
Just emailed Kathy to ask about it! And if she is true to form, the problem will soon be solved smile

I didn't receive my notice again and, no, I've never found it in my junk folder. Kathy doesn't understand why it happens but she has tried fixing it again. We will see next time.

It's a beautiful issue - don't you just love the tent cards?! Something special for our gorgeous snow covered lights. Thanks, JC! wink

Now got mine too...
It is printing just now, so I can read it in peace. Away from the PC, where there is always someone who wants to chat (on Yahoo Messenger, ICQ or AIM)

Kathy said, she fixed mine, but we will see in April!

And I agree... so far ... a great issue. I love the fact that the picture captions tell me who I am looking at! So now I know what Bob Ott looks like vhappy

Hi John,

Just a quick question. I believe that the January 2007 edition of the Legacy is the 5th one that has been received by email. Is this correct? confused

2005 - June
2005 - September
2005 - December
2006 - April
2006 - October
2007 - January

The Sept 2004 edition was sent by both email and regular mail, recipient's choice. This, as I recall, was a rather low res and poorly received effort.

I'm glad everyone is getting theirs, but I have not gotten an email yet. When I first joined the Society years ago, I got a whole packet of info including a membership number. Now, when I decided to rejoin again in December 2006, I got the society freebie very quickly, but no other info. I have emailed Harbour Lights twice and have still not gotten an answer. I guess I will have to call them today.

Thanks for the quick response John. I am missing the December of 05 issue. Would it be possible to send me the link.

Thanks

I would hazard a guess that perhaps the lighthouse that Ed Diaz picked for winning the "Collector's Choice" prize may have been mentioned in either the April or October 2006 Legacy. If someone can pull those up maybe they can provide the answer?
