The Beach Apparatus Drill Reenactment is on the schedule for every Thurs. at 2 P.M. Chicamacomico closes for the winter after Nov. 24. If you are planning a trip to the NC Outer Banks, please go see this. It's recommended that you contact them before hand to confirm the status of the event you want to see. 252-987-1552 or email chicamacomico@earthlink.net This drill has been missed for the last five years and we are so thankful to the Coast Guard for making it possible once again. Thanks for the article, Stephen! We had to miss Chicamacomico on our trip to the Outer Banks - we just stopped for quick pictures. Now that I've seen the lights, maybe I can do a trip just for the LSSs. Right, Judy? You'll go with me?
