After working with the Coast Guard Channel for some time, they were out here in the fall to do a feature on the Chicamacomico LSS and Station Hatteras Inlet/Oregon Inlet's efforts in keeping the USLSS/USCG Legacy alive. The 1874 Station at Chicamacomico has been shored up to prevent further damage. They are still taking donations for repair and further restoration. We plan on starting the Beach Apparatus drill again this summer (around June), as scheduled. You can get updates on the site at www.chicamacomico.net Thank you all for your support and donations!
