"History of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse" at New Castle Public Library, New Castle, NH

On Wednesday evening, September 28, at 7 p.m., at the New Castle Public
Library, Jeremy D'Entremont, president of the Friends of Portsmouth
Harbor Lighthouse, will give a Powerpoint presentation on the rich
234-year history of New Castle's lighthouse (also known locally as Fort
Point Light) and its keepers. He'll also explain what Friends of
Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, a chapter of the American Lighthouse
Foundation, has been doing since 2001 to preserve the lighthouse and to
make it more accessible to the public.

The New Castle Public Library is at 301 Wentworth Road (Route 1B) in
New Castle, New Hampshire, next to the entrance to Great Island Common.
