Saturday, June 18, 2005:

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Lighthouse Cruise from Warren, Rhode Island. Five-hour cruise past 15 lighthouses (Bristol Ferry, Hog Island Shoal, Rose Island, Goat Island, Dutch Island (which we are now raising money to restore), Plum Beach, Prudence Island, Newport Harbor (now under the care of the American Lighthouse Foundation), Lime Rock, Castle Hill, Beavertail, Conanicut Island, Warwick, Conimicut, and Nayatt Point (weather permitting).

The narrated cruise will offer a buffet lunch of roast beef, polish ham, American cheese, sliced turkey, chicken salad, ham salad, tossed salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, rolls & butter, pastry, and coffee. The cost of the buffet is included with the ticket price. There will be a cash bar on board for soft drinks, etc. On board there will be lots of raffle and door prizes! Cost: $35.

At 10:00 a.m. we will board the Vista Jubilee at Warren, RI, returning to Warren at 3:00 pm.

6:00 p.m.., Evening Dinner at White's of Westport in Westport, Massachusetts.
Cost: $32. Evening speaker and lots of raffle prizes!

9:00 a.m., Sunday, June 19: Brunch & Annual Meeting at White's of Westport.
Cost: $20. Breakfast buffet to include fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, Boston baked beans, sliced baked Virginia ham, breakfast pastries, crusty rolls, juice and coffee.

Reservations required, please call 207-646-0245.

Cruise (includes lunch): $35 pp.
Dinner: $32 pp.
Brunch: $20 pp.
Entire weekend: $82 pp.

Well, Bert, you will have to be sure to get lots of pictures - you have a new digital camera, don't you? I wish I was close enough to join that trip. It sounds like quite a nice weekend at a very reasonable cost. You all have fun and be sure to file the required trip report!

The Brady's are at about 75% on getting to go to what sounds like a fabulous weekend.. I just need a couple of vacation day's approved, airplane reservations (points) and we are there!!

It just dropped to 30%, someone else who's vacation days effect my vacation days, already has that Friday before off... I will need to see if he can move his vacation forward a day so he will be back on that Friday... It will be 100% that we will be there, if that happens..

This looks like a neat trip. I trying to figure how to get there by 10am without staying over the previous night. A 7am ferry off LI really makes it a close call.

Well we are back in the hunt... I worked out the work conflict and I just made our reservations with ALF for the weekend... We just have to book our round trip flights and it will be 100%!! See you there in June...

smile Ron - I couldn't have said it better! Peg & I are leaving first thing in the morning for Myrtle Beach and then to the Outer Banks to visit Cape Hatteras, Bodie Island and Currituck Beach Lights! I'm also looking forward to seeing everyone at the ALF Event!

Proceeds benefit the American Lighthouse Foundation & our efforts to save lighthouses and their history. These tours and dinners sell out fast, so please place your reservation early.

We have reserved a block of rooms for the American Lighthouse Foundation at the
Hampton Inn/Westport (adjacent to White's) 508-675-8500. Remember to mention the Foundation when you make your reservations to get discount.
