Art,

My pryaers go out to your sisters. I saw some of the devistation on the TV and I felt so sad for all of those people. It's easy for us who have lost nothing to say at least they are alive but after the waters receed and you realize that you have lost everything it's got to hurt.

I hope and pray that in some way they will recover from all of this.

Sometimes we (all of America) tend to forget about people after a storm passes. This time the aftermath of Floyd was much worse than the storm itself. Floyd left but the rain it dumped has caused much more damage than wind or ocean storm surge. I have been watching the news with a heavy heart for those people from these forums and others who made it through the windy part of the storm only to have their lives turned upsidedown by floods. My prayers go to them.

Now with Harvey raining in some of the same areas there will be more losses. Let us hope the last of the storms have passed for now.

Jim

I know that the people effected have the determination to go forward. Yes, this is a big set back, but we all come from stock that won't allow us to sit down and do nothing.

My prayers are with all, and I know that God has already given all of us the strenght to carry on.

Art, my heart also goes out to your sisters and the damage they've suffered. I remember way back in '72 when excessive rain caused flooding the the Elmira/Corning, New York area. Had friends who's homes and businesses were affected. One friend spent a year living in a mobile home in the front yard. The clean up was long and difficult but they managed to get their places back in order.
