Judy's link to the video of the new RB-M boats got me to browsing the assorted short videos that are up on the CG site. Some interesting ones. Thought these two were interesting:

47\' MLB - some great video.

Station Marblehead airboat - a number of us saw this boat on its trailer when we visited Station Marblehead before the Cedar Point regional event last August.

Port Aransas 45\' - rougher water, nice detail shots at end of roll

Thanks for the links, Dave riding along during a rollover was cool! I can't imagine how it would feel actually doing it.. CBS Sixty Minutes did a story a few years back with the Coast Guard off Cape Disappointment and they put the boats through their paces, it was really cool doing rollovers then. I would love to see it shot in HD!

We will be driving right by Marinette Marine where the new RB-M 45 foot boats are being produced on our trip in June. I will have to drive by on the other side of the Menominee River to see if any are ready to be shipped.. This is where the new U. S. Coast Guard Great Lakes Icebreaker MACKINAW was built and launched on 2nd of April 2005.

Splash!

And of course we will re-visit the Light!
