Sector Sault Ste. Marie is the host this week of all nine cutters of the CG Ninth District. They are there for training and competition sessions for the 2007 Cutter Round-up, which takes place every two years and provides multible training opportunities for the fleet.

Coast Guard Cutters Mackinaw, Alder, Hollyhock, Bristol Bay, Mobile Bay, Biscayne Bay, Katmai Bay, Neah Bay and Buckthorn won't be available for public tours but there will be lots of media coverage.

Wouldn't that be a Kodak moment!

Definitely a Kodak moment. What a great photo op!

We were supposed to take vacation this week...one of the destinations was the "Soo" but, things didn't work out. Now I'm even more disappointed! frown
Thanks for posting...maybe someone will be up there and post some photos!
