A little survey here. Working on my website again, and I want to target the design to how the lighthouse community connects. I did this a few months ago, but it accidentally got deleted, and I never replaced it.

This is intersting. Somehow I expected IE to win. It just goes to show that MS is really cultivating a monoploy!

You're very right, Margret....MS really has a monopoly not only on the American/European markets, but also on the whole world. In places like Africa and Asia, MS products ARE computer software.
It's also interesting to see how many people are on broadband - only one person so far is on Dial-Up. My dad told me this morning that he read that something like 42% of adult Americans now have broadband. It's almost becoming the only choice, with the enhanced webpages we have these days. You even notice how many hotels and rental properties (i.e. on the OBX) have it now. We won't rent a house on the Outer Banks anymore that doesn't have it. My mom has to run a company while we're down there. Dial-up doesn't cut it anymore.
These results are interesting, not just as a cross-section of CF members and the lighthouse community, but also internet usage in general. Big change from a few years ago.

hmm ...ja ... well ... I will admit to still having a working etch-a-sketch  Does that make me very sad?

At home I am on dial-up using Netscape. I never visit the Forums that way.
At work I am on a T1 line and use IE. Wish I didn't have to.
The survey doesn't handle situations like this.

I use internet explorer, in part because I am use to it, but the boys (Steven and Ian) use firefox. I been on that computer too and don't notice a difference, but they tell me it is better.???

I wanted to choose etch a sketch...some days my computer is that slow But didn't want to mess up the poll!
