For those of you who know such things, perhaps you can answer this for me as I have not been successful in getting an answer any where else. I have an Artist's Proof of Montauk Point, GLOW. I have had it for about a year and it is signed by Bill Younger. I read in Lighthouse Legacy that this piece is going to be completely re-sculptured. What does that do to the value of my piece? Is it worthless as the piece was never produced, or does it give it a high value as there are only a few? How many Artist's Proofs of this piece might there be? And if it is worth something, what might be it's value? I am not interested in selling it, I am only very curious. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I think you're sittin' on a gold mine, Linda. The fact that Montauk is being resculpted from scratch (is that redundant?) means you own one of what is probably only a handful of Montauk GLOWs.
On top of that, you have an artist's proof, which is always worth significantly more on the secondary market.
If I were you I'd put it somewhere where it absolutely could not get dusty or damaged. Then pop open some champagne and celebrate---you've got a real gem there. I'm green with envy, but I love hearing stories like yours.
Regards,
Bill
