While this can be made light of the question is this. Would you give up collecting Harbour Lights to get a Harley Davidson?

I think the choice should have been Harbour Lights or Krispie Kremes.
(Course I've given up the KKs.)

Where did you come up with that question Chuck? Are you a big Harley fan?

Harbor Lights. Although I see a similarity between the two.... Both collectible. Both Valuable. Both take you to amazing places. Both visually appealing. Both can bring great memories. Uh, I'm not helping am I???? I voted for the Harbor Lights. :p
Marblehead, Mass. Lighthouse, you will always have a very special place in our hearts. ....We've made the journey as far south as New Jersey, as far north as Canada. Over 100 lighthouses visited.... and so many more to go.

I voted "NO", I would not trade my HL's for a Harley. My reasoning was as follows: You can't be killed riding HL's. There is no excise tax on HL's. You have to pay to register a Harley. HL's are very fuel efficient. You do not have to wear a helmet if you take your HL's for a ride. I have four registered vehicles in my driveway now for just two licensed operators. I don't need a fifth. It's less likely that the Hell's Angels would steal your HL's. A Harley will not fit in any current curio that I have. Bob

Obvious I would have my Harbour Light collection. But The Harley Idea is tempting. It sure would be a lot cheaper.

This is a choice I may have to make, to a certain extent. I have always dreamed of getting a Harley and that dream is getting closer. If I had to choose it would be tough and would cut into HL collecting, but it wouldn't stop it. Chuck

Assuming you voted for the Harley, Chuck...
Looks like you're the ONLY one so far.
Remember what happened to Bob Younger before making any final decision.

Actually I voted NO since I won't give up HL's. But I can see where I will be eating my own cooking for a while. Which will mean a loss of weight, which I put on so I would look like a Harley rider Chuck

Fortunately for me this is a redundant question. I am fortunate to have two Harleys and a nicely growing H/L collection of 125+ (Note the profile name) HOWEVER, if I had only the Harbour Lights collection, YES I would sacrifice them for a Harley. Why? Because one day I'll be too old and feeble to enjoy being "in the wind", but I would still be able to collect. Chuck, I hope you can arrange both. My summer vacations are always the same - taking an extended trip on my Harley to visit Lighthouses . Life is good.

To let you all know I have a new Harley-Davidson Springer Heritage and picked up Pheros, Old Field Point and Old Mac (glow). I will have to temper my quest foe the older ones a little. I will post pic's later, Chuck
