Just some simple questions on how the Forum Members feel about the Founders Collection

I basically voted that I wasn't buying but my reasons cannot be explained the way the multiple choice answers are worded.

I will not buy "blind" just to add duplicates to my collection. If I had a choice of which HL models I could buy, I might be willing to purchase a half dozen or so. I have no desire, at this point, to own single digit flags of lighthouses I have no interest in.

Rather than participate in what can be a costly "gift grab" or "Secret Santa", Harbour Lights should be coming up with a way to sell off the Founder's Collection with collectors knowing what they are purchasing. Maybe they should offer HL dealers first shot at purchasing these pieces then those dealers could advertise here at the CF exactly what they have for sale. I would bet they would have much more interest that way.

You are right Bob,
I should have added one more line asking if collectors would buy if sold differently.
Well too late.

Very Interesting Results so far....

I hope the folks who are selling Bill Younger's Founder Collection is reading this and reviews the results.

I for one agree 200% with Bob M, and probably many others, and would have participated in this years opportunity if I knew what I was ordering. I am interested in purchasing more of these "special" lights or would welcome another chance in the future if the logistics of the opportunity was changed back to the way it was last year.

I do not have any of the Founders Collection. I don't have the extra funds to buy any at this time. But would be interested in purchasing some if they were offered agian.

According to the Poll I am the only collector buying this year that has bought last year from the Founders Collection.

According to the poll, I'm the only one buying just one piece.
