It has to be your namesake, Sea Girt. I love the looks of the solid brick structure.

My favorites are Hereford Inlet light and Sea Grit - I like the ones that are different, not conical in shape. I just love these two lights!

I have to agree!! Last year I had the opportunity to visit most of the NJ Lights and came away thinking that Sea Girt, Hereford Inlet and East Point were my favorites.

Esther, my wife, has a favorite you like- Hereford Inlet.
Her main reason actually has little to do with the Lighthouse. She likes it, but it's the grounds that make it the best for her. They have lovely gardens there that are lovingly maintained.
My favorite is Sandy Hook. Yes, there are a number (at least 8) of other Lighthouses around that have a similar shape, but there are differences and to me Sandy Hook stands above all those other lookalikes.
I may be biased since I was a volunteer there for 3 years.

I have to agree, that Hereford Inlet has beautiful gardens and what a beautiful view of the ocean from the gardens. How I would love to live there!!

I'm going to have to go along with Dennis' volunteer bias view for Sandy Hook. After that I'd have to go with Barnegat. I can't say exactly what it is about Ole Barney but I've loved it since my first visit.

Gotta say, I like Eastpoint because of it's remote location, and the job they've done restoring it. Sentimetal favorite would be Barnegat, because that's the first lighthouse that my then 10 month old daughter acknowledged when asked "where's the lighthouse" on our post renuion vacation.
