A smaller group of WACKOS gathered Friday evening in Port Huron's Pine Grove Park to tour and admire the Lightship Huron.

Aboard were John & Lorie Roe, Jerry & Donna Siatkowski, Ken Reese, Bryan Acree and John Chidester. Our Guide for the tour was Mark Steinborn who did an excellent job as he answered more questions from us than he probably gets from any sixth-grade class.
After the tour, we retired to the Quay Street Brewing Company for an dinner enjoying the local cuisine and beer (Microbrews).

This morning, we're starting the trek up the Western Shore of Lake Huron with a tour of Fort Gratiot Lighthouse (Did I ever mention it's my 'hometown lighthouse'?
)
Before the sun sets, we'll have seen: Port Sanilac, Harbor Beach (Inside Tour!), Pointe Aux Barques, Port Austin Reef, Saginaw River Rear Range and Tawas Pont.
