Got mine last night! The UPS de;ivery man evidently just left it at my door without knocking. My next-door neighbor knocked on my door about 10PM to let me know it was there.
I still haven't found anything wrong with the other one.

UPS must have a new rule - they never ring the bell or knock anymore. Once in a while, I can actually hear a pkg. dropped by the door. I have found many late at night, so now I make it a point to look on the front porch a couple of times during the evening.

I guess they feel they lose to much time waiting for someone to answer the door. This has happened t me too. My regular driver usually always waits for me though.

You are right about the time, Tom. And about how good the drivers are; there's one driver who will actually leave me a note that he's left pkgs. inside the fence gate (to the backyard). That's around Christmastime and such when I order a lot of stuff by mail. That's really good service.

Well Folks,

I've experienced the same thing. The UPS delivery person never even rang the doorbell. Unfortunately, yesterday morning I left my townhouse for breakfast, didn't notice the package, tripped over it and fell down the stairs.

Just a little bruised, but I sure wish that sucker would have let me know.

Sorry to hear that, Bob. Falling down stairs is no fun; hope you don't have any hairline fractures or something you haven't detected yet. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to find out how much damage you sustained. Take it easy for a while.

Kind of like a drive by delivery. Wait till the driver gets the slingshot / catapult installed!

I'm grateful that I have a good UPS driver. He either rings the bell or knocks on the door. He will even put the box part way down the porch, behind my porch lighthouse, so it isn't as noticeable.

Take care of yourself Bob. Since UPS mis-delivered a box full of HLs from El Cajon last summer (a neighbor had them a couple of blocks away for several weeks) and a claim was filed, they now leave a note requesting a signature for packages from Harbour Lights.

Everybody find their signature on the Cheboygan Certificate? I can't find mine.

No offense meant, Rock, but you probably didn't mean that the flag was stupid... but rather that, in your opinion, the inclusion of it was stupid on the part of Harbour Lights. Time to get over it, Rock. Break if off your piece if you can't stand it.

I'm entitled to my opinion, John...as long as HL continues to include these fragile and unnecessary appendages on their pieces, making them harder to clean, handle, and display, I WON'T get over it...further, as long as this site continues to display the statement "The posts reflect the opinions of the individual. Not affiliated with Harbour Lights or Younger & Associates", YOU (as an "employee" of HL) need to get over combatting such opinions.

Rock - You are entitled to your opinion. If you don't care for the pieces that have a flag on them you should call Harbour Lights and voice your opinion or not buy those pieces. While I happen to like the flag I can understand your opinion. The biggest problem I have with your complaining is calling "our flag stupid". You can call putting the flag on lighthouses "stupid" or why do the "stupid people" at Harbour Lights put the flag on all pieces but not refer to our flag being stupid?

If you have ever been in the service you would have or should have learned some respect towards our flag. I mean no disrespect towards yours or anyone elses's opinion but I take it to heart when someone refers to our flag as "that stupid flag".

We've been through this before, guys. No one is calling the American flag "stupid". We all know the reference is to the horrible HL version of our beautiful flag. Everyone has a right to express their opinion, so just let it go once and for all, for goodness sakes.
