Does anyone have the Nikon Coolpix 8800, or know anyone that has one? I have been looking at it. It looks like a wonderful camera and has a anti shake feature for taking those lighthouse shots on a boat on the water. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hi Jessie...I bought this camera last Dec. So far, I like everything about it. It has a good feel about it. The new dial on top of the camera makes it very easy to find the settings that you are looking for (unlike the Nikon Coolpix 8700).
It has 8 megapixels, a 10x zoom, and a much improved battery life. Overall, I think it is a great camera for my needs and takes excellent pictures.

Hi Jessie! My friend bought the 8700 and she loves it. I've seen her 8x10s off from it and it takes really nice shots (and I'm fussy). Here are some user reviews on the 8800 if you are interested: DPreview Owner Opinions Nikon 8800
