A couple of years ago while doing a photo tour along the Lake Huron west shore with my kids we stopped to photograph the New Presque Isle lighthouse and climb the tower. While in the process of working on another photo project last week, I came across these slides in my collection and decided to scan them to share on the Collector's Forums. This also makes another nice test of John's new upload protocol...

You must have been there in the spring, as the grass is still green! (seems to get very brown by mid summer). And, such a beautiful blue sky. One of the taller lights in the Great Lakes, it is a true beauty.

We were probably there in April or May, Dave. We had an absolutely gorgeous day to visit there and photograph!

Nice pictures Gary. I thought I was looking at some of the pictures that I took the day we were there in early July. By the way, the grass was still green then too. Isn't it a beautiful view from the top of this lighthouse?

Beautiful shots, Gary- Bethany and I went to the top in July 2000, a similiar wonderful day. She still has her "I survived the climb" T shirt!
