Seems like it wasn't but a week or two ago that I put a comment on here about the forum hitting 100 threads posted on it. Now we're at 1000 comments posted to the forum!

I think the Lighthouse Photography forum was one of the fastest to reach 1000 posts. It's a very special forum and exceptionally educational. Besides that, it always has great pictures to view.

Thanks, Bert, Randy, and Cap'n Bob! Actually, this isn't what falls in the category of work for me... my day job that funds the photography is that! The photography and sharing it is where I turn the creative/artistic side of my brain loose on the world. There's a lot of creativity in the science that I'm involved with, but it's completely different and satisfying to me in a very different way! Suffice it to say that I'm happy to share what I can of my own photography and photographic knowledge on this forum and I too get ideas from folks who've contributed as well!

Thanks again, guys, and hopefully we'll make it to 2000 posts to this forum as quickly as the first thousand ticked by! Summer's a good time to go lighthousing, so I'm hoping lots of the folks who are out there roaming around the lighthouses that dot our coast lines with cameras will share some of what they get on their trips with us here!
