If you are using the AOL Instant Messenger program and are NOT an AOL user, you should upgrade to the latest version of AOL IM - 2.0. This version allows users not connecting through AOL to create instant chats from among the buddies online and in your buddy list. Very fast, very neat. The one shortcoming - you can't do chats with those connected through AOL, although you can IM them.
