Maybe I'm just off the photographic deep end Bob, but there wasn't a single digital SLR in the link you posted. While I'm sure they were at the CES, it would have been nice to have had some mention of them rather just the digital P&S cameras.

I guess they were going for the major audience(low end), and not the photography geek like most of us here. I thought that scanner was pretty awesome!

I think the PMA show at the beginning of March is where you'll see the new DSLR stuff.
CES is great for high-end audio.

The Epson scanner was quite interesting but I haven't been able to convince myself that a flatbed scanner is going to do the same quality of job as a dedicated slide scanner, but maybe that's just me...
