I was gleefully shooting away on my new 10D camera yesterday during the galestorm that passed through Michigan. 12-15 foot waves with sustained winds on Lake Michigan with gusts up to 70 miles per hour put on the best show in Grand Haven I've seen in awhile. "The Lone Pedestrian" "Bird in a Gale" "Facing the Wave" "Shrounded in Mist" "Back Lit" These were all shot with the new 70-200/4L lens I just got plus a 1.4x teleconverter. Boy, I sure have missed having a zoom telephoto! Wise decision to part with the 200/2.8 prime. Enjoy!

Wow! What a show! What great photos, Jen!
I love #2 with the sun on the front tower and the bird frozen against the inside tower!

Jen,
"Bird in a Gale" gets my vote also. Fantastic shots. Thanks for sharing.

Jen,
I would have to vote for "The Lone Pedestrian."
Great shots!

I firmly believe that Jen could produce beautiful pictures using an old box-type camera if she really wanted to.

Wow Jen! Those pictures are great. Did you get sand-blasted trying to shoot these shots?

Great work, Jen! I really like the pic, "Facing the wave". The "Lone Pedestrian" reminded me of a "M&M" Peanut at quick glance. Bob
