When I bought my new Nikon D80 the software that came with it had some sample pictures with it. I never pay attention to them but the first picture caught my eye due to the colors. The second picture was just of a lighthouse so I kept it.

I'm trying to figure out where this place is. I have done a number of web searches but come up empty. On the first picture I can only make out Bayside Marina and Seaport Street.

Then just today I noticed that the lighthouse is the same in both pictures. On the sign in the second picture you can read the ending of what I am guessing may be Nantucket.

Does anyone know what these pictures are of?

From the signs it looks like it might be a faux lighthouse. The sign facing the back maybe says Nantucket?

Just did a search for "bayside marina seaport street"!

Funny but I did the same thing and couldn't read it so I didn't look further. So I guess if I want to see this in person I am heading to Japan. Well cross that off the list! Thanks for the help.
