Isn't Fort Jefferson a cool place!
Did you go by boat or take the seaplane? I have done both and I like the seaplane better. (It does cost a bit more, but well worth it.)

We have a special soft touch for the Fort Jefferson light, even though we have never seen it for real. So thanks for sharing the pictures!

Great photos. I've only been to Key West once and didn't have enough time to get out to Fort Jefferson. I'm not sure I'd want to go inside on a bright sunny day, though.  Maybe next time, though. Dennis

I've been to Fort Jefferson twice - once on our boat, and once by seaplane. I thought I would be able to get a shot of Loggerhead on the way back in the seaplane, but it developed a fault and I had to go back by ferry.
So the best I could do was a shot from Garden Key
