Beavertail was awesome, I loved the area, would love to call this light home!

Unfortuately, time did not permit a trip out to Rose Island, this was as close as I could get. frown Not all of my family shares the love for lighthouses that I do.

Awesome pictures as usual. You do get around don't you. Beavertail has always been a favorite of mine and I guess always will be. I used to fish off the rocks quite often, long before I started collecting lighthouses. Beavertail wqas my first HL and still is one of my favorites.

Bert,
Since I live in the desert, if I am in the area near a lighthouse I try to get there. Ask my brother-in-law (cclighthousebuff), I drive them nuts trying to cover as many lights as possible. I was at Cape Canaveral and was so bummed that the light was off limits, but I will see that light someday, somehow!!!

It's funny hearing someone else saying that. I love to get my camera out and shoot whenever possible. On a recent trip to Seattle, I accompanied a friend for a wedding. She went for the wedding, I went for the photography. We had one day to shoot, and shoot I did through Mt. Rainier. At the end of the trip, she remarked to a friend, He took Too Many Pictures. I thought we spend too much time at the wedding, and not enough time on the trails. wink

That bottom picture with the Bridge the light and the boat make for a great composition. Nice job with the foreground boat.
