Cool lights on the falls. The last and only time I was there was in the mid-70's. One of these days I should go back. We stayed on the Canadian side and Lorna & I really enjoyed ourselves. I remember we were amazed on how clean it was over there. Bob

Great bunch of shots! I love the Niagra Falls night shots too. Great color! Looks like you had a fun time!

I have to agree with everyone else...the night shots of the falls are beautiful. I enjoyed looking at all the other pics as well. Thanks for taking the time to post them all.
Where did you start and end this trip? How many days were you gone?

Second time we've made this trip. We drove to New York - the first lighthouse stop was Barcelona - if I'm remembering the map correctly. Then toddled along the coast, going as far North as Ogdensburg. The sky was mostly overcast as we outdrove the rain which followed, but we had a couple really clear days. From Thousand Islands we scooted back across Canada in one day, coming out at Sarnia / Port Gratio. All total I think 9 days starting in the last week of September. Probably coulda gone a week or two later for better Fall color.
All the Niagra Falls pictures are from the Canadian side where we stayed.
And yes there was an older chap working on "that boat" - next to the Barcelona light.

Our fall colors weren't all that great last year Tim, imo. I checked the dates and Jakers and I hit some good weather for our LH jaunts the weekend before your trip the the couple of weekends after, go figure. Weather out this way can be iffy no matter what the season. During the timeframe of your trip I don't believe we did any lighthousing but I was home, here, just a half hour away from Oswego and my phone didn't ring with a call from you guys!
