Forty Mile Point, Michigan, October 11th, 2002
This Lake Huron light benefitted from substantial restoration over the last several years.
Obviously not the typical creme city brick found on so many Great Lakes lighthouses.
The lakeward side of the tower painted white to serve as a daymark.
Run aground off Forty Mile Pt in October 1905, this is what's left of the hull of the steamer Joseph S. Fay.
FMP's 4th order Fresnel.
