While doing a little inventory last night I noted that my Cape Canaveral GLOW's serial number does not start with an alpha character. I am assuming some kind of mistake and wondering if anyone has heard of this with this piece? Thanks...

What's the number, KT? This kind of error has happened on Old Point Loma GLOW and Ponce de Leon GLOW in the past, but I've not heard of any others.

Anyone else have a GLOW without a letter? Please let us know which piece and the number.

All the early Cape Canaverals are missing the alpha letter. (Look at the photo of the flag on the 1998 catalog page at this site.) I don't know with what number the lettering begins, if indeed it does. I may have read somewhere that another of the GLOWs from the 98's also had the error, but I'm not sure.

We've got #147 for the Cape Canaveral GlOW. No letter.

I have seen some in the stores without the letter will doublecheck when I am at the local store. I do beleive it is a Ponce De Leon

Checked my Cape Canaveral GLOW and it's numbered 293, no letter.

I have been trying to jog my memory all day on this one. I believe it was the first 1,000 or so that didn't get an A on the flag number. Obviously it was 1345 or so that didn't get an A.
