Congratulations, Jen! I got mine the other day, but forgot to check for the photographer as I always do. Nice photo!

Only one bad thing about it, and that is the issue upon which it graces. Unfortunately, Lighthouse Digest has gone to 10 issues, this one being one of the combined ones. There is a letter from Tim in the magazine explaining this. But hey, 10 is better than none!

Congratulations, Jen! Nice winter shot. Its hard to believe that LHD doesn't notify the photographer that their picture was to be on the cover!

Dave, I never got a phone call, letter, or email that they were going to use it. Not that I mind!! I'm tickled pink that they used one of my shots!

The grass was actually covered in ice. I distinctly remember trying to climb up that little hill in flat soled shoes and slipping backwards because I had no traction!

Congrats Jen! I missed this one first time around (didn't get the magazine yet), also the second time as my Digest arrived the same day as the Depot catalogue. Checked the cover photographer on the catalogue but forgot to check the magazine so just noticed it today.

(You want traction, try golf shoes. Even the soft spike variety are pretty good in icy weather.)

Congratulations, Jen! What a beautiful picture. It inspired me to order my subscription. I don't know if I'll get the current issue.

If you order now, you may get it. LHDigest seems to have a trend of sending you the latest available issue as soon as they get your subscription. If you don't get it, call them and maybe they have an extra that you can buy.

Great job, Jen! Personally, I find it a lot more fun to just be surprised one day when you see the magazine. It's so much more exciting, IMHO...
