Before I bounce back out of town for the remainder of the week on business... how is Kim coming with the photo contest judging?

Just awaiting her judging to complete the tally. I sent her a reminder today.

Trying not to be a "pest", John, but any idea as to the current status of the final contest decisions yet?

She knows the pressure she's under.

I'm glad I'm not in her shoe's and have to judge this thing. Is there any chance you could post a blank guide-lines form that they used for the judging? It would be nice to get a look at it. Are they going to e-mail use the results of our own photo grades? Of course doing that could open up a whole new can of worms they may not want to open.

Gee, I thought this was just supposed to be a fun thing. I sure don't want any grades. I know I'm just a rookie and didn't count on winning. It was interesting to me to just see the variety of photos submitted. I'm sure that Kim has lots of more pressing items on her agenda.

Pressing things... do you mean like being the CEO of a very succesful company that makes lighthouses and maybe a whirlwind trip to China and back.. Is that what you mean Mombo?

No Paul. I was thinking that she may be helping to do Sue's ironing while you guys are away.

From my own perspective, the judging was very tough. There were many, many excellent photos submitted for the contest. Regardless of the outcome (and I have no idea at this point what that is), everyone should be very proud of their entries. Thanks again to everyone who participated, and again for John who took care of the details. John came up with the spread sheets for judging, took in all of the photos, posted them on HL's website, made contact with HL to set this up, etc. etc. John, you da man!

My thanks to both of you, Tim & John for allowing us a place to put our pictures up for view. Also, a thanks to Kim...we know you must be very busy and to even offer to be apart of this is very much appreciated.

John, is the chatroom still limited to a maximum of 25 people at one time? I would think some of the forumites might not be familiar with the limiting capacity and may wonder why they can't connect.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS! Even though none of my 4 photos won anything, I'm thrilled that I know 2 of the winners: Mark Cassino and Gary Martin. WAY TO GO, Mark and Gary!! And at least, now that the contest results are out, I can start using the colored version of my lighthouse icon that Gary did for me!!
