I haven't seen her post lately!
Anyway she has a picture in the most recent LH Digest!! It is an aerial view of Split Rock LH, in winter no less. It is in an article(pg.21) recognizing Split Rock's 100th Anniversary!!

I'm pretty sure Tammy posted her aerial photos of Split Rock some time ago. Not ever having visiting Split Rock it was great to see the rest of the light station. When I saw the one in the Digest Article I knew it was hers before I even read the caption. Good article too.

I'm catching up on old posts and found this one. I'm still around. I have been traveling to a lot of places without lighthouses or at least none where I was at. So, I haven't posted much lately. I'm not working at the moment and will have more time on my hands.

I haven't submitted any photos to Lighthouse Digest the past 4 years. That was indeed one I submitted for the 2005 contest.

Anyway, they shot off fireworks at Split Rock on July 31, and I'm so disappointed that I didn't go! They lit the beacon the first Friday of the month during the summer and fall, and I found it more challenging to photograph than November 10 and decided not to go. I looked at the events online and didn't see anything posted about fireworks. Some got some really nice photos.
