The most important lighthouse for us ... St. Catherine\'s Lighthouse ... our favourite lighthouse.

This is one of the lighthouses Trinity House opened to the public. Our friend Kim is spending a couple of weeks as a guide there! We got a special tour before they opened to the public and it was very interesting.

The keepers's cottages and service buildings from the top of the tower

Here is the merry band of the special tour... from the left ... Stan, our friend Kim Fahlen, Margret and the Co-Ordinator of the volunteer guides Micheal Walter, who gave us our special tour.

Egypt Point on the most northerly point of the island is inactive, but still a daymark for the huge sailing community

And the lens is still there...
