What is her breed?

She is a Lowchen. But she is not show-trimmed, as she is the only dog I know that does not like being groomed and show trimmed means LONG at the front and shaved at the back. She is happier this way and so am I.

I can only recomend them for companionship and loving attention. They will make a perfect dog for families as well as single people. Highly adaptable and CUTE !!!

I like your dog just the way she is. The show-trim is rather ugly.

I once had a Lasa Alpso who hated being trimmed. So, like you, I just gave up.

Bob, I agree. The show trim IS ugly and not natural at all - not even close! The kennel clubs have a lot to answer for ... on both sides of the big pond. Even though to be fair, the breed standards for Lowchens on your side of the pond are slightly "nicer" than ours.
