Well, this one's for John. The sunrise color Thursday morning didn't last very long... as I may have grumbled, there was some color early that faded quickly as a bank of clouds drifted east out over the lake. I got a couple of good exposures with color... this was the best of the bunch in terms of where the clouds were and color. Srry you missed it, John, so this one's for you!

Here's a silhouette of the north pier catwalk leading out to the lighthouse that was shot Friday morning. I liked the tongue of reflected orange on the surface of the ship canal and the lake relative to where the catwalk jogs left to the outer pier where the lighthouse is actually perched. I have a number of other slides to scan showing some of the participants from the Friday morning shoot in "action" but those will have to wait for tomorrow.
