If I spent $800 dollars out of pocket right now I'd be finding a new home, but at $25 per month on a 36 month plan, I'm actually tempted. I wonder what my fiance would think about that (with our wedding coming up in November)? I could possibly say it was a wedding gift for the two of us. Hmmm....

You didn't figure in the 24% APR interest rate. I'd say sell something to raise the money. Have a garage sale.

Sure Jared, sell the whole garage and then you can get some of the extras to go along with the camera! smile

Total of 42 payments of 23.77= $998.34 on a $799.99 principal, that's actually a 12.884% APR. eek eek eek

The first rule of photography... Thou needest more photo gear!!!

Second rule of photography... Thou must start this addiction early in one's marriage or even before if the habit is to be successfully maintained!

If I was ONLY spending $800 on photo gear, my wife would probably be deliriouisly happy. On the other hand, she's gotten used to my serious photo addition over the years and some lenses, for example my 500 mm f4, that more or less equate in cost to the price of a used small car. Oh well...
