Just posted Wind Point to my web site. Took a few nice shots, it was a really beautiful day. For those who haven't been, it borders a public golf course. The greens (colors not holes) of the course really lend themselves to nice pictures. Actually this panoramic shot was taken from an elevated green (hole not color) : ) on the course.

And one right before the hole.

As a golf course superintendent I've got to say that is absolutely beautiful. A golf course with its very own lighthouse - perfect.

Pierhead-

There is a alledged story that had a local politician, after seeing the Cape Cod Lighthouse relocated away/back from the cliffs and placed right in the middle of a adjacent
active Golf Course, saying, "We should put the Nauseut Windmill on the 8 hole..." A reference to a lifesize windmill landmark a little south of the location, and a tongue in cheek reference to miniature golf.

Mombo- The fee for the ball depends on how much glass in the lantern room it broke...(spoken like a true 250 pound guy who always slices....)

This would make a great spot to set up one of those eye-tricking images so that someone is teeing up a ball on the top of the lighthouse (like a tee).
