Great pics, Stephen! Thanks for sharing those. It looks like the weather this time of year there was really nice for you too!

Stephen, never a "standard" shot at Bodie! Always different...always a new experience. I like the "feathering" clowds in the first photo, and the way the shadows of the pines play in the second. The stormy gray clouds add to the third. Having watched the contractors paint the black stripes, your fourth shows that the paint job still looks new. Thanks for sharing photos of a favorite destination. Judy

They may be "standard" shots, but they look great The weather looks pretty good too. The 4 or so days I visited Bodie, it was completely overcast and/or raining except for a few hours where I got some nice sunset pics. There was a Nor'easter spinning off the coast that weekend.

Great Shots! I love Bodie! Judy, I was so impressed the night you took us back to Bodie at dusk so we could see it lighted. That was a great trip.

Great 'standard' shots! I think that they are awesome and never tire of seeing photos of Bodie! Some day I'll make it there to see it in person. I especially like the first two. Thanks for sharing.

I thought it looked like it had been painted. Nice shots.

No such thing as a "standard" shot where your pictures are concerned, Stephen. These are beautiful. Kay, I have to agree about the visit at dusk. That was extra, extra special - one of my favorite moments of the trip. No tourists hanging around, the light in action and the peacefulness of the surroundings - fabulous! Bodie is one of my favorite lights - one of the first HL's I purchased.
